Waxed Field Jacket

An honest field jacket in 8oz waxed cotton. It is water resistant rather than waterproof — it will see off a shower and a long walk, not a storm. The wax finish marks and creases with use; that is the point. Re-wax it once a year and it will outlast most things in your wardrobe. Composition: 100% waxed cotton. Collar: cotton corduroy. Sponge clean only. Do not machine wash.

How do I know which size to order?

This piece is listed in XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL, in Fieldnote's own sizing. Any measurements we have taken are written into the description above. If you’re between two sizes, email support@freshsale.store before you order and we’ll go through them with you.

How should I care for it?

Follow the care label sewn into the garment — it is written for that exact fabric. As a rule, cold water, a gentle cycle and drying flat out of direct sun will keep the colour and the shape far longer than a hot wash and a tumble dryer.

When will it arrive?

Delivery takes 3–7 business days once your order is dispatched. Your confirmation email carries the order number — quote it to us and we can tell you exactly where the parcel is.
